You can take the boy out of prep school, but you can't take the prep school out of the boy. Try as he might, Mitt Romney simply can't connect with average Americans. He has claimed that, despite his privileged upbringing as the child of a millionaire, he often worried about getting a pink slip. He also claims that he is currently unemployed despite his annual income of perhaps $26 million. Those absurd lies are his attempts to "relate" to the unemployed and middle class voters.
His latest awkward moment came during his attempted explanation as to why he believes forcing insurance companies to compete for your health care dollars is a good thing. Yet instead of simply saying that, Romney declared that “I like being able to fire people who provide services to me.” Double ouch!
