Bigot Roundup Of The Week

Jerry Falwell, God bless him, is a never-ending stream of sweetly worded bigotry. His latest example, assuming he hasn't opened his mouth in the past five minutes, is a gentle reminder that Jews are going straight to hell:
"Earlier today, reports began circulating across the globe that I have recently stated that Jews can go to heaven without being converted to Jesus Christ. This is categorically untrue."
And speaking of Falwell, he has helpfully identified an up-and-coming bigot-in-training from North Carolina. According to his web page, unsuccessful Congressional candidate Nathan Tabor
has been dubbed a "young Jesse Helms" by Dr. Falwell. If true, we can look forward to future quotes like these.

Also, Catholic Charities of Boston announced that it would no longer offer adoption services. Massachusetts now has a law that grants legal equality to gay couples seeking to adopt children. You can understand Catholic Charities' dilemma. It was either that or stop the bigotry.
