Wok Around the Clock

Have you ever noticed that NPR has the best musical interludes (the bridge between show segments) yet the musical artists they select for long interviews invariably suck?

This morning's example wasn't as bad as most, but it was sooooo predictible. Abigail Washburn is an American who plays the banjo while singing in Chinese. It sounds like something made up for the old Gong Show.
